7th Grade Country Report: Due 12/17

Directions: Each student will create a wiki page on the country that they have chosen. Along with the report each student is required to create a drawing of their country's flag, and an outline map of their country with the capital and any geographical formations labeled. You will have eight days in the library to complete your research, create your wiki page, and complete your drawings.

Major Government
Major government in pakistan, is semi presidential republic government.
Major Religions
Islam is the major religon but there are many Hindus and Christians.
Languages Spoken-
Urdu is the national language of Pakistan. English is the official language. Other languages are Balti, Kashmiri, Farsi, Siraiki, Shina, Makrani etc.
Current leader or president
Asif Ali Zardari is the current president and Yousaf Raza Gillani is the current Prime Minester.
Brief history of the country including any important people and major wars
Raza Dahri is the most famous man to ever live in Pakistan. There zre no famous wars that Pakistan was ever involved in.
Currency-tukish lira
The only currency right now of Pakistan is the rupee which is what they call money in Pakistan.
Major cultural traditions (holidays/foods etc..)
I couldn't find any major holidays they celebrate that arent already known pretty well in America.
Climate
Pakistan has no consistent climate, summers are hot and airy. But July and August can be unpredictable because sometimes rain starts even in the hot sun.
